General information

Nautilus Abilities

Description
Cooldowns

Staggering Blow

Nautilus_StaggeringBlow
P

Auto-Attacks deal bonus physical damage and root his target for a duration. This effect can't occur on the same target more that one time every few seconds.

Dredge Line

NautilusAnchorDrag
Q

Throws his anchor in a target direction. If it comes in contact with an enemy, Nautilus drags the anchor towards him, along with the unit that he hit. Nautilus dashes forward as well. This ability does magic damage and roots the target for a brief duration. On hitting terrain, Nautilus simply dashes to that location and 50% of the cooldown, and the mana cost of the ability is refunded.

Titan's Wrath

NautilusPiercingGaze
W

Shields himself up to 6 seconds. As long as the shield persists, his auto-attacks deal bonus magic damage over 2 seconds to all enemies around him and his target.

Riptide

NautilusSplashZone
E

Creates 3 waves of explosions that move away from him. Each wave deals magic damage and slows the enemies hit for 1.5 seconds.

Depth Charge

NautilusGrandLine
R

Sends out a homing ability to the enemy champion of his choice which deals magic damage to the target upon impact, and knocks up that target, along with any other target in the path between Nautilus and his target.

In this combo you want to lock down a carry hiding behind their team with your Ultimate and then walk up to them to make sure they can't escape. This is particularly useful when their teammates are around them as this will set up for wombo combos.

Anchor Smash

This combo is used to lock down a melee champion. You could throw your Q out near the end if needed or you could throw it out first.

Quick tips to play Nautilus

Hold on to your Dredge LineQ until the enemy has miss positioned or used their escape ability. Using your Dredge LineQ and missing it will leave you vulnerable to damage and poke.
When the enemy is sieging one of your Towers or is trying to poke, use your Dredge LineQ to catch out them out of position while they’re overextended. Picking someone off is a good way of winning a fight or preventing the enemy from taking an objective.
While Nautilus is quite slow, you do have really good roaming potential as you have a lot of CC. Look to roam after recalling before heading back to the bottom lane.
