Poppy throws her shield with a ranged basic attack periodically and does bonus magic damage. She can then pick it up and gets a shield.
Poppy hits the ground dealing damage and slowing enemies hit. After standing on it for a second it deals damage again.
Passive increases Poppy's total armor and MR by 10% and 20% when she's below 40% max HP. Active causes her to gain movement speed and creates a barrier that knocks down and damages enemies that try to dash in it.
Poppy dashes to a champion and damages and pushes them along with her. If she hits terrain with the enemy it stuns the enemy.
Poppy swings her hammer in the air and slows herself and then smashes the ground and sends a shockwave that deals damage and sends enemies flying in a target direction if hit. If she instantly releases her hammer it just knocks up the enemies hit.
Basic Poke Combo
This combo is only effective when the enemy is positioned between you and a wall. After the combo you can use your W for safe getaway if the enemy has high mobility, crowd control or is looking for re-engage.
This combo only works when the enemy is trying to destroy your Passive projectile. When the enemy goes to destroy it, E on them before they step on it so you get your shield for a safer trade.
Basic Flash Engage
Stun your enemy to a wall and enable your team to secure a kill. (Optionally you can follow up with a Q after the combo).
Quick tips to play Poppy
Pick up your Passive shield whenever it lands nearby. Then look to engage on to the enemy while you have it to increase your chances of coming out ahead.
to knock away key targets in a team fight and then collapse on the enemies who are left behind.
When the enemy positions close to the wall, look to engage on them as they will not be able to defend themselves briefly which you can capitalize on.
