Rengar Matchups Overview
Rengar General information
Generates a Ferocity stack on casting an auto-attack. On reaching 4 stacks, his next basic ability will be empowered, which will grant an additional cast of this ability along with bonus Movement Speed for 1.5 seconds. It will also empower some of your abilities but will consume all the Ferocity stacks. The stacks are lost if Rengar is out of combat for 8 seconds.
When hiding in a brush, Rengar's auto-attacks gain a pounce range. On attacking a target, he will leap to that target and attack them. This effect lasts for 0.25 even after leaving a brush but is lost immediately if he casts Flash. Leaping with no Ferocity stacks generates 1 Ferocity stack.
Bonetooth Necklace: Taking down an enemy within 1.5 seconds of damaging them will grant you a trophy per unique champion, up to 5. These trophies grant bonus AD per stack.
The next two auto-attacks within 3 seconds gain bonus attack speed. These attacks are unstoppable and gain bonus range while dealing bonus physical damage.
Empowered: Deals bonus physical damage and gains increased bonus attack speed.
Let's out a roar, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies and healing himself for 50% of the damage he has taken in the last 1.5 seconds.
Empowered: The magic damage is modified and cleanses Rengar of all crown control.
Throws a bola in the target direction, dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit and slowing them for 1.75 seconds.
Empowered: Physical damage is modified and roots its target for 1.75 seconds.
Camouflages himself and gains Unseen Predator (brush Passive) for the remaining duration. His next auto-attack will make him deal bonus physical damage and reduce the target's armor for 4 seconds. Nearby enemy champions will be alerted to Rengar's presence.
Invade the enemy Jungler and look to take away their camps or fight them. Use the bushes to aid in your assassination/invasion attempt.
During the mid-game, try and take out targets with your Ultimate R that are away from their team or isolated. Catching someone out before a major team fight or objective spawns is a great way of getting an advantage.
Skirmish heavily in the early game to assert dominance and gain a lead over the enemy Jungler.
