Volibear doesn’t have the healthiest of clears. If you’re playing somebody who is strong and good at invading, try to go in and steal his camps or fight him while he’s low in his jungle.
Volibear will be looking to gank a lot in the early game. Try and ward his jungle entrances to spot him leaving his jungle. You could try and counter gank if you’re on the same side of the map as him.
Thanks to his
, Volibear can take the Drake quite easily. With this in mind, you should ward the Dragon pit and have it warded at all times so you can spot him if he tries to take it.
Always buy items that can stop him from healing as much. Items like Executioner’s Calling or Morellonomicon will prevent him from healing as much.
In team fights, try not to group really close together as Volibears Ultimate
can be crippling at the start of the fight. Group close but not on top of each other.
Volibear’s ganks are pretty obvious to spot as he will run directly at the enemy with his
active. Make sure you have vision around the map at all times so your teammates know where he is and where he can gank.
Once Volibear hits level 6 and unlocks his
, he can tower dive, dish out tons of damage and kill you if you’re low. Recall quickly if Volibear is nearby and you’re low.
Volibear is strongest in the early and mid-game. Do not to die to him early on as he can quickly snowball out of control.
Volibear can start to gank once he hits level 3 and unlocked all of his basic abilities. Keep this in mind and play cautiously if he’s on your side of the map once he hits level 3.
