Talon Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths

Talon has the highest amount of first bloods in the game. His early kill pressure is insane!

Talon has great roaming potential thanks to his E. This allows him to jump over walls and move around the map quickly.

In the later parts of the game, Talon can pick up extra kills on enemies who are walking around the map alone. As he deals a lot of burst damage, he can kill them quickly before running to safety.

Weaknesses

If Talon falls behind he isn't going to one-shot the enemy. Make sure you get as much gold and XP in the early game to make your late game more impactful.

If your allies do not have any follow up damage or CC, it’s going to be difficult for you to help their lane by roaming.

Once the enemy starts to group, you will find it harder to pick enemies off and further your lead.

Game plan
Early game
0 - 15 min
Talon is Strong

Your goal in the laning phase is to abuse the enemy and get kills. Try to play aggressive when suitable to get an early lead.

Use your strong 1v1 potential to roam around the map and help your allies secure kills. If you can get kills and help your allies, your chances of winning the game will be much higher.

Once your allies have rotated to the mid lane, rotate to a different lane and split push. It’s important that you do not fall behind in CS and XP by staying mid when there are lots of other champions there.

Flank in team fights to make getting on the enemy backline easily. Make sure you’re near your team at all times so you can get in the fight fast.

After your bot lane has moved to the mid lane, rotate to the bot side of the map or somewhere else on the map so you can continue to farm and gain XP.

As you’re good at getting picks and killing isolated targets, try to ambush and assassinate enemies who are alone or walking around Summoners Rift alone. After killing someone, make the call for a nearby objective.

Late game
25+ min
Talon is Weak

In the late game, look for picks on immobile or miss positioned enemies. Taking someone down in the late game can give you enough time to force a fight, siege an objective or take the Baron or Elder Dragon.

If the enemy is grouping, look to group with your team too. In team fights, continue to focus the squishiest and easiest to kill high priority targets in the backline.

Power Spikes
Early game0 - 15 min

His RakeW is a significant poke and wave clear tool. It allows him to hit level two quickly and also allows him to roam frequently around the map.

Once he hits level two, he gets a significant power spike and can immediately all-in an enemy. With Ignite, Talon should easily be able to kill the enemy.

Getting his Ultimate Shadow AssaultR is a significant power spike. It bolsters his all-in potential, and he can completely destroy the health bar of his target.

Mid game15 - 25 min

His ability to roam around using his Assassin's PathE will be critical during this game phase. It will allow him to further capitalize on his power.

Talon's Assassin's PathE will be a crucial ability that will enable him to roam around the map. He can both wave clear and poke enemies with it and then decide what to do next.

Getting more items will allow him to one-shot squishy carries as the game goes on. This means that he should not give up on farming (i.e., he should not over roam).

Late game25+ min

During this phase of the game, his ability to pick enemies in the Jungle will help him. He should just all-in any squishy target who is wandering about in the Jungle.

Looking for flanks in a significant team fight should be his primary goal. His Ultimate Shadow AssaultR invisibility will prevent the enemies from reacting to his all-in in time.

CC is his main enemy, so he should only try to all-in an enemy when he can use his Assassin's PathE on a nearby wall or if the enemy has used up all their CC.
