Really good burst potential with her entire Q, E, Ultimate combo. This can delete a squishy enemy with ease starting from level six itself.
Her W shield is deceptively strong as it can allow her to save all her team members from a lot of poke. This is also applicable when she is Support.
Her Q can be used to secure picks inside the enemy Jungle or from blind areas. This can be extremely beneficial if the picked target happens to be the enemy Jungler or the ranged carry.
Very immobile and can be killed almost immediately if she is caught out without her Q. Layered CC will make her absolutely useless.
She is somewhat item reliant, so camping and killing her a lot during the early game will just make her a shield bot during the late game.
She can be picked off easily by the enemy team if she wanders too far from her team, or when she is trying to take the Blue Buff. She will also be very weak against complete all-ins from the enemy team.

During the laning phase, focus on poking the enemy down to gain a health advantage. When the enemy is low, commit to an all-in.
Try your hardest to keep your ADC alive for as long as possible in lane. Provide them with shields whenever they need them.
After destroying the bottom lane tower, rotate to the mid lane and try to take that tower. This will open up the map and give your team a gold lead.

As a Support, you’re quite vulnerable and can easily be killed when going to ward, when you’re moving around the map, and when you’re alone. To reduce the chances of dying and getting caught out of position, try and stick with your team at all times.
Keep a constant eye on what major objective is spawning next. If it’s spawning soon, make sure you place vision around the objective as quickly and as safely as possible before retreating to safety. Having vision around major objectives is key.
Look for picks during the mid-game. If you can pick someone off with the help from your allies, you can abuse their death timer to earn more gold and possibly take a tower, an objective or get more kills.
Ward major objectives and place vision in high traffic areas in the late stages of the game. Keep them warded so you can see the enemy move around the map and see them starting the objective.
Stay with your team at all times. Avoid moving around the map alone so you do not get caught out. Getting caught out will result in your team having to play 4v5. Do not ward alone unless you know where the enemy is.
Peel for your allies as much as possible. Keeping them alive for as long as possible in team fights is a must in order to win the game.
Lux's first power spike is when she gets her Q. She can now CC two targets in a line, which is vital for securing picks during the early and mid-game.
The next power spike is when she gets access to her E. It allows her to slow enemies, which makes it easier for her to land her Q while also dealing damage at the same time.
The most significant lane power spike will be when she gets her Ultimate . This finalizes her 100-0 potential and will mean death for squishies if they happen to get caught by a Q
Getting more items will increase her overall power and damage output. This is especially great for her E AoE damage.
Her wave clearing is impeccable, but she will have to be careful about pushing up as she can easily get ganked at any game point. Her W should offer some protection from enemy damage.
Although immobile, Lux can pull off roams if she happens to shove her wave into the enemy tower. Her Q and E allow her to catch enemies out very quickly.
Fighting in closed areas will benefit Lux as she will land her Q on multiple targets at once. It will also make it easier for her to land her Q.
Investing in a Zhonya's Hourglass may help Lux preserve her power. This is applicable if she is against heavy CC or assassin champions.
The short Ultimate cooldown will help her take short burst trades, which have the potential to kill any squishy target at this point of the game.
