Nami has lots of poke thanks to her W and E. This can allow her to poke the enemy down and win trades with ease. She can also use her W to heal herself back up if a trade goes poorly.
Has lots of kill pressure in the laning phase and in the mid game with her Q and Ultimate R. This makes her a huge threat in team fights.
Can keep her allies topped up with HP thanks to her W and the items she will pick up. This increases her allies ability to deal damage and survive team fights.
This champion is pretty immobile and is prone to CC. If they get caught out by any CC, they will probably die.
Has less carry potential compared to a lot of other Supports. Nami relies on her team to carry while she provides them with heals and shields.
Nami is a squishy champion with low hit points. This makes her pretty vulnerable and easy to kill. Picking your fights and avoiding constant trading is key to winning.

During the laning phase, focus on poking the enemy down to gain a health advantage. When the enemy is low, commit to an all-in.
Try your hardest to keep your ADC alive for as long as possible in lane. Provide them with heals W whenever they need them.
After destroying the bottom lane tower, rotate to the mid lane and try to take that tower. This will open up the map and give your team a gold lead.

As a Support, you’re quite vulnerable and can easily be killed when going to ward, when you’re moving around the map, and when you’re alone. To reduce the chances of dying and getting caught out of position, try and stick with your team at all times.
Keep a constant eye on what major objective is spawning next. If it’s spawning soon, make sure you place vision around the objective as quickly and as safely as possible before retreating to safety. Having vision around major objectives is key.
Look for picks during the mid-game. If you can pick someone off with the help from your allies, you can abuse their death timer to earn more gold and possibly take a tower, an objective or get more kills.
Ward major objectives and place vision in high traffic areas in the late stages of the game. Keep them warded so you can see the enemy move around the map and see them starting the objective.
Stay with your team at all times. Avoid moving around the map alone so you do not get caught out. Getting caught out will result in your team having to play 4v5. Do not ward alone unless you know where the enemy is.
Peel for your allies as much as possible. Keeping them alive for as long as possible in team fights is a must in order to win the game.
Nami gets a minor power spike when she puts a point in her Q. This is because it allows her to CC her enemies, which, combined with her W or E, can cause a lot of damage to the enemy at level two itself.
Another power spike is when Nami has access to all her abilities. It increases her utility and helps in increasing the damage output of her ally.
Her Ultimate R increases her follow up potential drastically. She can also use the Ultimate R to cut off her enemy's escape route.
As she gets her items, her W heal becomes way more potent. It will help her keep her allies alive in grave circumstances.
Her ability to fight in tight spaces is impeccable. She needs to chain her Ultimate R and Q with her team's primary CC form.
If the enemy team is heavy on CC, getting a Mikael's Blessing will help Nami increase her power significantly. Anti-CC with healing is always appreciated.
Once Nami is full build, her healing W and damage output will be quite potent. Her E will also allow her ADC to blow up the enemy.
Her Ultimate R is still very potent during this phase of the game. It is to be used in the same way, but this time it has the added advantage of being on a low cooldown.
Positioning will determine how powerful she is during this phase of the game. She will be extremely powerful as long as she doesn't try to go too ham and peels for her carries.
