general guide on how to counter Warwick
Warwick is a strong early game Jungler. Place vision inside the river and at his jungle entrances to reduce his ability to get successful ganks off.
Thanks to his kit, Warwick can take objectives pretty quickly and can solo them thanks to the sustain from his . Place vision and take the bot side Scuttle Crab to spot him before he is able to take it.
As Warwick has a strong early game, try to equal his pressure by ganking just as much as him. If you’re not able to gank in the early game, try to invade his jungle and steal away camps when he’s shown on the other side of the map.
Warwick will look to pick someone off with his Ultimate to start the fight. Make sure your flanks are warded so you can spot him before he is able to catch someone out of position.
Try to poke and delay a team fight for as long as possible. Warwick is vulnerable to poke and disengage and if you’re able to poke him down, it will be risky for him to engage.
Getting Ulted by Warwick in a team fight can be game-changing. Be prepared to Flash his engage if you have it up. If not, invest in a QSS so you can escape the CC or lock him down/ interrupt his channel with CC.
Warwick's largest power spike is when he hits level 6 and unlocks his Ultimate . If you’re at risk of dying, be ready to Flash as soon as he shows up in your lane.
He falls off in the late game but it doesn’t mean he is useless. A good Ultimate on a key target is enough to win the game. Investing in a QSS will offer you some protection.
Warwick can solo objectives in the early game with ease. If there are no gank opportunities for him, he may be trying to take the Dragon instead. Keep it warded at all times so you can see him on it.
