Samira has an incredibly strong all-in. This will allow her to go for kills frequently, especially when the enemy overextends or walks too far forward.
Her Ultimate R is an incredibly strong tool in team fights. Avoid fighting unless you have your Ultimate R available as it deals tons of damage.
Samira’s utility and ability to dash allows her to escape sticky situations makes her an incredibly strong and mobile champion.
Samira struggles to team fight if her team doesn’t have follow up engage. Once she goes in, the enemy will just focus her if she is alone.
Relies heavily on items in the mid-game. If she is behind, she is going to struggle to dish out a lot of damage.
Is vulnerable to all-ins and damage when her E and W are both down. She will not be able to block incoming damage or dodge/ get away from them.

Play safe for the first few levels. You need time to come online and you shouldn’t be fighting unless you have a clear early advantage.
Once you have a few levels under your belt, you can start to play aggressive and look for aggressive plays. However, you will rely on your Support to do the heavy lifting early on.
After destroying the bottom lane tower, rotate to the mid lane and try to take that tower. This will open up the map and give your team a gold lead.

Try and stick with your Support throughout the mid-game. You’re quite vulnerable and easy to kill if you’re on your own. By staying with your Support, your survivability will increase.
Continue picking up farm in the side lanes when no team fights are occurring, but spend as little time away from your team. You need gold and XP to buy items and if you fall behind, it will be unlikely that you’ll be able to dish out damage in fights.
Look for picks with your Support/Jungler to get kills and increase your lead. If you kill a key target, you could make the call for Baron.
Just like in the mid-game, you should stick with your Support throughout the later parts of the game. Do not go around the map alone as you will die easily.
Do not play super aggressive in team fights. Just kite and auto-attack the nearest enemy champion. If you walk too far forward, the enemy will focus you and take you down.
Continue to kite in team fights and consistently adapt your positioning. Avoid standing still in fights as you’ll be an easy target.
Getting her Q should give her a decent poke ability to use against her enemies. Given that her auto-attack range is so small, this will help her immensely.
On unlocking her E, Samira should feel a lot safer during the laning phase. This is especially true if she is against someone with a hook or projectile form of CC.
Samira's burst damage increases significantly once she gets her R. She can reposition very quickly while riling up her style rank to activate her Passive.
Once Samira gets her first item, she should be able to dish out a lot more damage in a very brief time. It gives her the ability to one vs. one enemies in her lane.
Samira should swap to the mid-lane as soon as she can get the bottom lane turret. Her ability to assist in objective fights, combined with her low range, make lane rotations very easy for her.
Getting to level eleven is another significant power spike. She will now have a mighty Ultimate R along with her core items to help her out.
During this phase of the game, Samira can abuse her power by sticking with allies who have hard CC on them. Her passive allows her to extend the CC on such targets.
Although Samira's W should protect her, she should still get a reliable defensive item like a QSS if the enemy team is heavy on hard CC. She is always very squishy, and if her E happens to be down, she will die.
Fighting in open spaces is optimal for Samira. This can switch once she gets her Ultimate R fully charged up as she won't want to give the enemy team any chance to escape her Ultimate R range.
