This Fusion will apply the Sever and Unravel strand debuffs for us. Which allows us to spawn threadlings by damaging the unraveled target.
Armor
Weapon final blows with a damage type matching your subclass energy grant Death Throes, which provides a grenade damage bonus and grants you grenade energy. When you have Death Throes and throw a grenade, nearby allies gain greatly increased grenade regeneration for a short time.
This Void Warlock Build truly encompasses what Destiny 2 Builds should be all about. Thanks to a few new weapons in Season of the Wish and a couple of mod changes, we now have a VoidLock Grenade build that dips into 3 different subclasses while still maintaining that classic VoidLock feel and providing us with infinite grenades that hit harder that a x5 Dragon’s Breath rocket!
Our Strand Fusion Rifle applies the Sever and Unravel debuffs along with now creating threadlings. Our Void Bow allows for infinite Void Overshields and Volatile Rounds, we also get a 50% damage buff on this bow pretty much 24/7 so we don’t need surge mods on the boots. Then our Solar Heavy rocket launcher applies Scorch and Ignitions for us on any target. Plus if we get a multi-kill with it, which is easy thanks to the ignitions, it will make us radiant thanks to an artifact mod.
From our VoidWalker subclass we get access to Weaken and Devour, so everything is debuffed by 15% and we get a full heal on every kill thanks to the improved devour on the Feed the Void Aspect along with grenade energy on every single kill. Then to top it off our Vortex grenades hit harder than Dragon’s Breath and can create multiple orbs of power per grenade. Since we can generate an orb every second now with a Grenade and these orbs will give us 25% energy to our Grenade ability every time we pick one up.
So just to name off exactly what you get when this Build is played right, a grenade that hits harder than an Exotic Rocket Launcher and this list of Buffs & Debuffs! Enjoy Guardian! Weaken, Volatile Rounds. Devour, Void Overshield, Unravel, Sever, Threadlings, Scorch, Ignitions and Radiant.
- Throw your Vortex Grenade to proc Devour.
- Slay out using our Void Bow to proc Verity’s Brow, Repulsor Brace, and Devour.
- Pick up any Orb of Power for 25% Grenade energy.
- As soon as your grenade is back, Use it. You should have 5 Stacks of Veritys at this point.
- Use your Strand Fusion to occasionally apply the Sever and Unravel Debuffs.
- Use your grenade every 5 seconds or so and keep firing that bow!
- Use your Dragon’s Breath for Boss damage and combine it with the Strand debuffs and your Vortex grenade that hits as hard as your Dragon’s breath.
