On completing an ability's effects, Shen will shield himself for an amount for 2.5 seconds. If the triggering ability managed to affect at least one champion, the cooldown of his Passive is reduced by 4-7 seconds.
Calls his Spirit Blade to his location. Enemies that the blade collides with are slowed for the next couple of seconds while moving away from Shen. On arrival, Shen empowers his next 3 auto-attacks which gain bonus range and deal magic damage. This damage is increased if the Blade collided with an enemy champion and Shen also gains bonus attack speed while it is active.
Primes his Spirit Blade and creates an area around it. If Shen or an allied champion enters the area, or after a delay of 2 seconds, the blade creates a zone around it for 1.75 seconds. This zone blocks all non-turret based auto-attacks to any allied champion in the area.
Passive: Damage from this ability and Twilight Assault recovers energy.
Active: Shen dashes in the target direction, dealing physical damage to all enemy champions and monsters in his path and taunting them for 1.5 seconds.
Shen channels for 3 seconds, shielding an allied champion. The shield increases based on the target's missing health. On completing the channel, Shen and his Spirit Blade blink to the target ally's location on the map. Shen also destroys any projectiles targeted at him at the time of completion.
Use your R proactively when you see your teammates going for 1v1’s. Keep a constant eye on the map for ganks and be prepared to pull the trigger if needed.
Try to whittle down your opponent with short and effective trades based around your Passive and W.
Before using your E, check the minimap to see if the enemy Jungler is nearby. If they’re not nearby, try to bait out an ability before going in. If they’re nearby, do not use your E aggressively.
To engage on a target from outside normal taunt range E then mid animation Flash. Q once you get behind your target and AA.
