Rell’s basic attacks steal 10% of the enemy’s armor and magic resistance for a few seconds. She will deal bonus damage to targets during this time depending on how much armor and magic resistance she has stolen. She can steal the enemy’s defensive stats only once, but she can steal multiple at any given time.
Follow up auto-attacks against an enemy that has their defensive stats stolen will refresh the duration of the effects. Attacking an enemy champion will refresh the duration on all nearby (stolen) enemies.
Rell thrusts her lance in a selective direction, destroying the enemies shield before dealing damage. The first target hit applies her passive, and the damage to enemies after the first is reduced.
If Rell is tethered to an ally with her E, she and the ally will gain a heal.
There are 2 instances to Rell’s W. When she is mounted, she gains movement speed, which is reduced if she takes damage. When she is mounted (and when this ability is activated), she will jump of her mount, knocking up enemies and dealing damage. She will then enter an armored form where she reduces her movement speed but gains a shield.
When she is dismounted, she is very slow but gains armor and magic resistance. When this ability is activated, she mounts up gaining movement speed briefly which is increased if she is running towards an enemy champion. Her next attack during the duration throws her target behind her dealing damage.
Passive: Rell can tether herself to an ally. While the tether lasts, her ally gains bonus armor and magic resistance.
Active: When she activates this ability, she binds herself to a champion. She can then recast this while the tether is still up and running.
Recast: Rell erupts the tether to deal damage to all enemies between and near her bound ally. She stuns everyone hit for 1 second.
Rell pulls all nearby enemies towards her. For 2 seconds, she deals damage and continuously drags the enemies towards her.
Look for fights around objectives and in the jungle. Your R has a large area of effect which can allow you to CC multiple enemies at once.
When making your way back to lane and when roaming around the map, change forms to reduce the travel time so you get to your desired destination much quicker.
Peel for your carries in a variety of ways with your R. Be prepared to use it as a defensive tool to help your allies escape from the strongest of enemies.
