Poppy has everything she needs to outplay enemies in all sorts of situations. She can weakside and play safe or set up ganks perfectly. She brings a HUGE amount of disruption to any draft and in teamfights her anti-mobility and CC is more than enough to make the difference. Poppy is pretty simple to play but she has a fairly high skill ceiling too, with all the difference combos she can pull off. So whatever rank you are, you can’t go wrong with Poppy.

Maokai is still a fantastic pick in 3 different roles and in the jungle he’s having brilliant results recently. Maokai has a variety of different itemization options to go for from full AP, AP Bruiser, full utility, full tank or a combination of all of the above. Maokai’s point and click CC makes him one of most consistent and reliable gankers in the jungle right now and his scaling crowd control and initiation potential is just too good to miss out on!

Swain mid has been underrated for quite some time and if you check out his stats at lower ranks he’s actually pretty busted! Swain is very easy to pick up and learn and his kit allows him to turn into a complete raid boss even if he gets ahead. Swain has solid pick potential, poke and burst damage but it’s really his survivability that allows him to 1v5 with that ultimate. Tons of damage, healing and CC makes Swain a serious threat in low elo, so give him a go!

Kog’Maw is just too good right now, boasting a fantastic success rate at every single rank. He’s been solid for a whilst since his recent buffs but the changes to his itemization recently is what sent him into those top tiers. Kog’Maw spikes incredibly hard now with just a few items, and before you know it, he’s shredding entire teams from 2 screens away. Kog’Maw works well with a variety of supports and drafts and if you get an enchanter in his pocket in the late game, he’s going to be seriously hard to beat.

Milio just ticks all the boxes when it comes to low elo. He’s simple to play, he’s easy to be impactful on and he’s insanely rewarding because of the sheer amount of utility he provides throughout games. Milio literally has a teamwide heal AND cleanse in his ultimate which can easily make the difference in 2v2s in lane or in those huge late game teamfights. He’s got shields, heals, buffs and boots and even disengage too with his Q, so if you haven’t already been playing him, why not?
