Game PlanGnar

If possible, use your range advantage to harass enemy champions from afar when they walk up to last hit. This will allow you to gain a health lead over the enemy.

Keep an eye on your resource bar at all times. Look for aggressive plays when you’re about to change form or when your Ultimate GNAR!R is about to come up.

When you’re level 6, you actually have a surprising amount of damage. You could use this to your advantage to get a kill or set up your Jungler.

Playing Against

Wukong can’t really roam very effectively pre-six. If he leaves the lane, let your team know beforehand as he can still kill over extended laners with ease. Try to ward the river if you manage to shove the wave in so as to avoid such scenarios.

During team fights, he will try to use his Warrior TricksterW and his Ultimate to sneak amidst your team and then land a massive knock up on your team. This is why you should know where he is at any given moment and if he does go in, CC him and kill him quickly while zoning off the enemy team with your AoE spells.

Once Wukong gets his Ultimate, his all-in potential becomes deadly along with his roaming ability as well. Try to poke him consistently so that he can’t leave the lane easily and if he does leave the lane, make sure you shove the wave to his tower and force him to lose gold and experience.

Wukong excels when it comes to extended team fights due to how his Crushing BlowQ, Nimbus StrikeE and Auto-Attacks work. Consider going for short burst trades against him in your minion wave in order to win the laning phase.
