Syndra is a strong lane bully and will try to shove for the first few levels. Look to push her back by using your abilities and auto attacking the minion wave to stop it from crashing into your tower.
Syndra has a very long cooldown on her
and will use it to either trade with or to set up the Jungler. Play cautiously whenever there are balls nearby as she may have placed them to set up her Jungler.
When Syndra has lots of orbs or balls around, do not play aggressively post 6 with her Ultimate up because she will deal lots of burst damage to you.
Enter the lane away from your minions so she cannot gain level 2 and immediately all in you. By standing away from the minions, she will have to either push the wave or try to poke you. Stand outside of the minion wave to make her decision hard.
Against Syndra, do not play in a straight line against her and avoid linear positioning. Doing this will prevent her from stunning you with her
Syndra has no escapes apart from her Flash and her
. If she uses her
, look to trade during this time as she has no way of defending herself from all ins.
On Syndra’s first back she will pick up Lost Chapter. This will allow her to use her combo more often. Try to play accordingly and play less aggressive when she has her abilities up.
Syndra’s main power spike early is at level 6 when she unlocks her Ultimate. She can very easily 100-0 any squishy laner with a full damaging combo.
Once Syndra has completed Luden’s Echo it will add lots of additional burst to her champions kit. Picking up magic resist like Mercury Treads or Negatron Cloak will help protect you.
