general guide on how to counter Syndra
Laning Against
After Syndra’s first back, she will have a lot of pushing power. Make sure you match her damage on the minion wave so she is unable to get early plates and roam priority.
Syndra’s has an incredibly long cooldown. If she uses it to trade with and misses, use this timer to play aggressive and poke her down.
Post 6, if Syndra has lots of balls on the floor, do not commit to a trade as her Ultimate will deal lots of extra damage. Commit to trades when she has no balls on the ground.
Strategy VS
Watch your flanks and avoid walking through unwarded territory as Syndra has great setup with her and combo.
Do not let Syndra poke you down before a team fight occurs. Her goal will be to harass as much as she can before looking for a pick. Engage as quickly as you can so she is unable to poke you down.
Avoid fighting inside the jungle or around an objective as it will make landing her and getting a multiperson stun easier. Fight in the open when possible and avoid grouping too closely.
Power Spikes
Syndra is strong once she has her first item as she will easily be able to push the minion wave with ease and force you under Tower.
Syndra’s main power spike early is at level 6 when she unlocks her Ultimate .
Once Syndra has completed Luden’s Echo it will add lots of additional burst to her champions kit.
