Rumble counter tips
Laning Against Rumble
Rumble is very immobile and prone to all-ins. Try to freeze the wave closer to your side of the map. This will force him to overextend for farm, which can allow you to all-in him, deny him from farm or even set up your Jungler for an easy takedown.
Rumble is rather squishy early and suffers heavily when his Q is on cooldown as he will lack damage. Looking to fight after he uses his Q will make trading easier for you.
Don’t underestimate Rumble’s damage in a trade. If you get hit by multiple E’s and stand in his Q for too long, he will dish out a lot of damage.
Strategy VS Rumble
Do not group or fight inside the jungle as it will allow Rumble to get a good Ultimate R off. By fighting in the open, it will be harder for him to get a 5 person Ult R.
Never try to take an objective like Baron or the Dragon if Rumble is alive and kicking. As you will be quite close together inside the pit, you are allowing him to land a devastating R on your whole team.
Rumble is prone to disengage. As soon as he uses his Ultimate R, try to disengage or reposition so it’s harder for him to deal follow up damage and win the fight.
Rumble Power Spikes
Rumble deals more damage when his bar is over 50%. Be cautious about taking trades when it is above this amount. Although, if you can bait out his bar and make him overheat- he will lack ability damage.
Once Rumble has his Ultimate R, his kill pressure increases. Do not underestimate his all-in potential with his Ultimate R. If he uses it on you, try to retreat as his Jungler might be trying to gank as his Ultimate R is a good gank setup.
Rumble is strong in team fights so expect him to be grouping and looking for picks with his Ultimate R during the mid and late game.
