When walking up to gank a lane, try and have as much heat as possible. This will make the gank more effective. However, do not go in with everything on cooldown.
Rumble’s Ultimate R is an incredibly strong ganking tool. Make sure you play around its cooldown and look for ganks whenever it is up. A good Rumble will constantly gank as soon as they have their Ultimate R.
Playing around with your heat is crucial on Rumble Jungle. Make sure you keep a constant eye on your resource bar to make farming the jungle much easier.

If you want to use the most popular Rumble Jungle build, you should take Flash and Smite as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick First Strike as your keystone, followed by Magical Footwear, Future's Market and Cosmic Insight in the primary tree, as well as Cheap Shot and Ultimate Hunter in the secondary tree.
