Laning Against Nunu & Willump

Laning Against Nunu & Willump

Nunu is going to be roaming an awful lot in the laning phase. Ping when he goes missing so your team knows that he could be headed their way.

Keep the wave pushed into his tower. You can secure tower plates and get a significant XP and gold lead while he runs around the map.

Try to counter Nunu roams when possible, but if you can’t, make sure you do as much as you can while he’s not in lane (such as pushing, roaming somewhere else, helping your Jungler etc).

Strategy VS Nunu & Willump

Strategy VS Nunu & Willump

When it comes to securing an objective like the Dragon or Baron, never go for the 50/50. Because of Nunu’s ConsumeQ, he will win every battle. Try to take the objective when he is dead or on the other side of the map.

Nunu is rather immobile when it comes to team fighting (once the fight has started). Lock him down with crowd control and kite him during the team fight so he is unable to be the frontline and get on to your carries.

Do not clump together when it comes to team fighting. If you stand close to one another, he will use his Snowball Biggest Snowball Ever!W to engage from afar and run into the enemy. If you are all close to one another- he might be able to get a 5 person knock up. Instead, group but not too closely.

Nunu & Willump Power Spikes

Nunu & Willump Power Spikes

Nunu’s roaming can be really hard to deal with. Ping as soon as he goes missing as he will be looking to help his allies.

At level 6, Nunu can go for aggressive all-ins on you if he is able to knock you up with his Biggest Snowball Ever!W.

Nunu can be really good in team fights in the mid-game if he is able to pick someone off with his Biggest Snowball Ever!W.
