Hecarim has really good duelling potential early. Look to abuse your low cooldown on your Q and W to trade with the enemy.
Team fights are going to be difficult for you as you’re prone to poke. Using your Ultimate R, try and flank the enemy from an unwarded bush or from the side so the enemy cannot poke you down and force you to disengage.
In the early game, some Top laners will forget that you’ve taken Ignite. Use this to your advantage to get kills and snowball your lead.
