Caitlyn has the biggest base range out of all the ADC’s. She will look to push the lane and poke you under your tower. Call for Jungler or Mid lane assistance to punish her.
Caitlyn is immobile apart from her
. You can easily kill her if you lock her down with CC.
Take note of the in game audio. You can hear where Caitlyn places her
. If you can’t see where they’re placed, it’s probably behind your tower. Stay away from your tower when you’re being pushed in.
As Caitlyn has limited self peel, look to all in her when she is low and over extended.
Punishing Caitlyn in lane is key and will leave her at a disadvantage into the mid game. It will also slow down her power spike: allowing your team to continue the snowball effect.
Picking Caitlyn off before a team fight will make team fighting much easier for you and your team because they will lack consistent damage output.
Caitlyn has a power spike at 2 items. When she finishes her Infinity Edge and Zeal item, she will deal a lot of damage so take note.
Caitlyn’s range is one of the biggest in the game so look to sneak up on her.
The longer the game goes along, the more damage she will output in team fights. Try to end the game or put her terribly behind so she cannot carry late game.
