Build Summary

This build utilizes frost nova and chance to freeze tempers to start off some incredible frost nova chains with the Iceheart Brais pants. In addition we utilize the ice shard ricochet node to ensure our ice shards are always bouncing from enemy to enemy, improving our chance to freeze and start the chain reaction. In addition, we utilize the shatter key passive to deal massive damage to enemies nearby frozen targets after we kill them. If you are looking for something slightly off meta, but extremely fun you have come to the right place.

If your vuln uptime is terrible run accursed touch over accelerating if your mana is bad run prodigy over accelerating Boss damage may suffer until Harlequin/Starless because we aren't using Tibault's or Firebolt Enchant/Devouring Blaze

Build Notes

Gameplay Loop
  1. Potion as needed to keep a constant barrier applied.
  2. Spam ice shards into packs of enemies, watch them richochet and freeze enemies
  3. Teleport and Flame shield as needed to proc prodigy's mana regen
  4. Deep Freeze when things get dicey or to reset cooldowns
  5. Ice armor as needed to stay alive
  6. Enjoy the frost nova procs from Iceheart Brais
How It Works

Oh Shardblaster 3000. God your fun. So so Fun. With the addition of the lucky hit chance to freeze temper, we can finally have Frostburn's in the form of Legendary gloves with Ice Shard ranks that don't suck. This build should see incredibly strong Freeze chains and Ice shards ricocheting everywhere.

I am done trying to make Ice Shards keep up with blizzard in terms of damage, it just doesn't happen. I am embracing the fun side of ice shards, while still trying to retain strength and endgame viability. "Live a little"

Frostburns were always really fun on ice shards, but without ranks to ice shards on them, they suffered so badly on boss damage. We will still have slight boss damage issues on the main iceheart brais build, as we opted to give up tibault's and accelerating for iceheart brais and prodigy. In addition we dropped devouring blaze and firebolt enchant for ice shard enchant, but the synergies were too strong to not take.

I think with this build you should temper your T200 pit expectations, I think it could potentially do well, but you will need the Ubers to be perfectly honest for T200. I think this will be passable T100 farmer at base.
