Diablo 4 Sorcerer BuildFrozen Orb - Frost Tank
Frozen Orb is poised to be the premier sorcerer build for season 4, unless the Amulet gets nerfed into the ground. It truly is a sight to see, frozen orbs and conjurations are literally spawning from everywhere. Damage scaling through the roof at 6% dmg per conj, with upwards of 6-10 conjurations out at a time after the Frozen Orbit post-PTR bug fix.
8 glyphs, high damage, super tanky. Get to blasting. Don't sleep on Soulbrand, DR is a rare commodity these days.
• For Bossing, Swap Firebolt Enchant to Ice Blade Enchant • Remove 1 Point in teleport, and the extra 2 ice armor nodes and take Summoned Hydra to proc burning
• Deep Freeze is a flex, can run Frost Nova or Lightning Spear. If nova take tempers • For armor you need 9230, which is a Greater affix and a MW, or regular affix and an armor temper • Prioritize attack speed, crit chance, and cooldown • If you have 300% cold damage, vulnerable damage temper is fine or damage to distant/crowd controlled • Winterglass needs 2/2 and a MW hit on conj mast to get 3
Build Notes
Mobbing 1) Ice Armor Engage 2) Cast Frozen Orb a ton 3) Flame Shield and Teleport as needed to proc Tibault's damage and mana regen 4) Ice Blades when off cooldown to keep proccing the Concentration aspect
Bossing 1) Spam cast frozen orb and cycle defensives as needed to keep barrier 2) Keep the 20% Damage from tibaults up by cylcing teleport and flame shield 3) Cast Nova, Deep Freeze, or Lightning spear, whichever you chose as the Flex as needed 4) Do not prematurely pop your flame shield, it is your life line to being able to face tank when needed 5) Try to nuke the boss once staggered
Frozen Orb got a metric ton of buffs for season 4. Basically it now has better base damage and provides better vulnerability uptime. With the fractured winterglass amulet, this thing becomes a monster. Conjurations everywhere, frozen orbs spawning all the time from the conjurations, everything is frozen and vulnerable,
Amazing Damage
• Fractured Winterglass provides large scaling through conjuration mastery, seeing upwards of 20 conjurations out at 6% damage per conj • Max Damage 8 Glyph Board with Icefall and Frigid Fate Legendary Nodes • Frozen Orbit Aspect on staff for an additional Two 120% damage pops, Conceited 1.25[x] and Storm Swell 1.3[x] • Tibault's Will 1.2[x] • 3 Stack Tal Rasha for 1.45[x] • 100% Attack speed from Affixes • Shatter Passive to chain explode frozen enemies
Low Mana Cost and High Mana Regeneration
• Upwards of 50% Resource Cost Reduction on staff and a smaller 10% roll on Esu's Boots • Ranks to frigid breeze temper on ring • 12% mana regen per conjuration out with 6 ranks in the conj mastery passive • Tibault's Will Mana regen after going unstoppable • 7 Mana per second roll on helmet

• Try Frost Nova Enchant over Frozen Orb or Firebolt Enchant, and Slap on Iceheart Brais. Enjoy the visuals. • Frost Nova Enchant is slightly redundant as Frozen Orb Freezes well and applies vuln, but boy does it look SWEET.
