When taking Arc Damage, this weapon becomes more powerful and resists incoming Arc Damage. Kills extend the time in this overcharged state.

A weapon that has good offensive and defensive capabilities. In PvE Riskrunner is best for clearing groups of enemies once Superconductor is activated from taking arc damage. In PvP and PvE it is good to always have in your inventory in case enemeis are utilizing an arc subclass and primary weapon in PvP or deal arc damage in PvE. When playing against arc using enemies this weapon is fantastic, the issue is that if you are not, this weapon is just a regular SMG with no usable perks.
