This weapon fires 3 sets of slug shots that are fairly spaced out in timings. This weapon falls under the classification of a fusion rifle, and trades off range for damage and margin of error. This tradeoff puts Bastion in a position as a great shotgun counter in PvP as it can kill an opposing player with partial hits from a burst from up close and just beyond shotgun range. Bastion strength lies within easily getting close range kills without having to land all 3 slugs, but it does have limited range, so do not use this weapon against standard fusion rifles or primary weapons at mid range, as they will outrange you.
