Firing this weapon at an ally grants Woven Mail to both the user and the target.

A heavy support weapon that can upkeep Woven Mail on you and ally almost indefinitely. By firing at an ally, you and that ally will receive Woven Mail. When fired at an enemy, after a short duration it will Sever the enemy and grant you Woven Mail. Although Woven Mail is a Strand effect, this exotic and its effect can be applied with any element. You can play as an Arc subclass and give yourself and an ally who is a Solar subclass Woven Mail. This is a great exotic for more difficult content as it gives great survivability through damage resist that can be stacked with other sources.

The catalyst synergizes with Strand subclasses as it will have access to a Grapple Point when utilizing a special reload. This is good utility and can be paired with a Strand Hunter with Cyrtarachne's Facade, a grapple based exotic.
