On top of great damage and crowd control aspects it can stun Unstoppable Champs.

Alternative: Escape Velocity w/ Osmosis - Instead of wasting the Primary Slot with a regular Kinetic you have the option of throwing your grenade to turn it into a Void Weapon and also take advantage of Volatile Rounds and Anti-Barrier Champs.

Perk allows you to have 2 Grenades. With double Scatter Grenades paired with the Controlled Demolition Aspect you can clear rooms with ease, plus it has one of the fastest cooldowns in the grenade slot.

How it Works

Start off an engagement by throwing a Scatter Grenade. This will make targets Volatile (Controlled Demolition) and also will allow for more Super Energy (Ashes to Assets), Orbs of Power (Firepower), gain Melee Energy (Echo of Provision and Momentum Transfer) and give Void Weapons Volatile Rounds (Echo of Instability)

Utilizing a Void Weapon with Repulsor Brace allows for a very high chance for the perk to proc (Volatile Rounds) giving you an Overshield and multi-kills will spawn Orbs of Power (Harmonic Siphon). You can also gain an Overshield from hitting targets with the Shield Throw Melee, cause Volatile (Controlled Demolition) and gain grenade energy (Echo of Exchange).

The main reason for Overshield is gaining the bonuses from Offensive Bulwark: Faster grenade recharge, increased melee range and damage, plus melee kills extend your Overshield duration.

Orbs of Power are important as they will not only allow you to take advantage of Devour (Echo of Starvation) for instant healing on kills and more grenade energy, but you gain bonus Void Weapon Damage (Surge Mods and Time Dilation) and grenade energy (Innervation).

If you really need your grenade you can use your class ability (Bomber x2). Harmonic Reserves will give more Special and Heavy Ammo for Void Weapons.

Gameplay Loop
  1. Throw a grenade to spread Volatile to targets, gain super energy and an Orb of Power on kill, gain melee energy and Volatile Rounds
  2. Use Void Weapons to spread more volatile and create Orbs of Power
  3. Gain Overshield from melee ability, which gives grenade cooldown, or Repulsor Brace Perk
  4. Collect Orbs of Power to proc Devour, Void Weapon Surge x2 and gain grenade energy
  5. Cycle between weapons and abilities to keep up Volatile, Overshield, Devour, and Bonus Void Weapon Damage
