Radiant Melt Machine

Apex Predator and Cold Comfort are the new kids on the block in terms of DPS. Both of these rockets have access to Bait and Switch which is a 35% damage buff, the largest a rocket launcher can get. Either rocket can be used in this build, just be sure to match the 2 or 3 Weapon Surge mods on your boots to the element of the rocket.

This build maximizes the ability of these rockets to output damage by utilizing Radiant Dance Machines in combination with Marksman's Dodge. Radiant Dance Machines allows you to continuously dodge which will proc Marksman's Dodge and reload the currently equipped weapon. At its base form the multi-dodge lasts for 5 seconds, but getting a kill will extend it to 10 seconds.

During a damage phase use Witherhoard and your energy weapon to start the Bait and Switch activation, then dodge to activate Radiant Dance Machines' multi-dodge and collect nearby Orbs of Power with Powerful Attraction to fuel Weapon Surge mods.. Next get a kill with Knife Trick on a nearby low health enemy that should be left alive before the damage phase. This will grant both the Radiant buff and extend Radiant Dance Machines' timer to 10 seconds. This coincides with the Bait and Switch timer on Apex Predator which should be drawn after landing the Knife Trick kill.

From here continue to shoot Apex Predator and dodge to completely circumvent reloading the weapon as it has a 35% damage boost from Bait and Switch, plus Radiant's 25% damage bonus, and the 17% or 22% damage bonus from 2 or 3 Weapon Surge mods.

1. Shoot Witherhoard
2. Swap to secondary weapon, shoot it once
3. Dodge to activate Radiant Dance Machines
4. Throw Knife Trick at a nearby low health enemy to become Radiant and extend Radiant Dance Machines' timer.
5. Swap to Apex Predator
6. Shoot Apex Predator to activate Bait and Switch
7. Dodge to reload Apex
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7
