Benefits from Ember of Empyrean by being a solar bow. This bow is fantastic for ad clear due to its solar explosions. It also works with multiple people using the bow where one player can hip fire to mark targets, and another uses ADS shots for explosions.
Armor
Allows perfect draws to be held indefinitely, but also provides a ramping damage buff the longer they are held, specifically granting a 37.5% damage increase every 0.5 seconds, up to a 150% total damage buff. Grants 40 airborne effectiveness and a bonus 10 points to your draw time stat to all bows.
This build is capable of a 352% damage buff to bows with Oathkeeper, Radiant, and weapon surge mods. Oathkeeper allows for a perfect draw to be held indefinitely and can scale bow damage up to a 150% buff if the bow is held for 4 seconds.
There are a few options for the bow itself. Solar element bows synergize well with the build as they can take advantage of Ember of Empyrean to refresh Radiant and Restoration timers. Ticcu's Divination and Pre Astyanax IV are great solar options. Wish-Ender is a non-solar option that is a great all around bow. If not utilizing a solar bow, swap Siphon and Loader mods as well as Ember of Empyrean to Ember of Solace to increase Radiant and Restoration timers.
The abilities of the build are the means of obtaining Radiant and Restoration. Knife Trick will give a 25% damage boost on a hit by giving you the Radiant buff from Ember of Torches, and the charge will reset on a kill. Knife Trick also scorches targets which activates Ember of Singeing for a 300% increased dodge recharge rate for 3 seconds. Healing Grenade gives Restoration. When killing a scorched target, Ember of Searing grants melee energy and spawns a Firesprite. If using a solar bow and Ember of Empyrean, these timers are reset on a bow kill. When applying these buffs to teammates, Ember of Benevolence gives a 6 second 400% bonus to grenade, melee, and class ability regeneration.
- Hit a target with Knife Trick to activate Radiant for a 25% damage boost
- Utilize Healing Grenade to activate Restoration
- Kill targets with bow to create an Orb of Power and refresh Radiant and Restoration timers
- Collect Orbs of Power for 17% damage boost and grenade energy
- Blade Barrage any high health targets when available
- Utilize dodge near a target to refund Knife Trick if charge is down
