Vel'Koz's abilities apply a Deconstruction stack for 7 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Basic attacks refresh the duration on-hit. The third stack deals bonus true damage.
Fires a plasma bolt that collides with the first enemy hit. It deals magic damage and slows the target by 70% for a few seconds. This can be recast after 0.25 seconds.
At the end of its range, or upon colliding with an enemy, the bolt splits in half and each part fires in the opposite directions perpendicular to the primary bolt's trajectory. Both of them deal the same damage and apply a slow to the first enemy who is hit by the split bolt.
On recasting, Vel'Koz will split this ability early.
Passive: Stores a Void Rift charge periodically. This can stack up to 2 times.
Active: Opens a rift on the ground in a line in the target direction. This deals magic damage to enemies hit and leaves a trail behind. The trail detonates after 0.75 seconds, dealing magic damage to all enemies within.
Erupts the ground at the target location, dealing magic damage and knocking up enemies in the area for 0.75 seconds.
Passive: Applying full Passive stacks on a target marks them for 7 seconds.
Active: Channels for 2.6 seconds to project an energy beam in a line. The trajectory can be shifted as per Vel'Koz's will. The ray deals magic damage to enemies within the ray and slows them by 20%. Marked enemies take true damage instead.
Try to delay a team fight for as long as possible while you poke the enemy down with your Q and W.
Your Ultimate R is a channel which leaves you vulnerable. Try to use your Ultimate R from a distance and in a safe position to avoid dying.
Dominate the laning phase by constantly poking the enemy with your Q and W.
