Rumble Counter tips

Laning Against

Rumble is rather squishy early and suffers heavily when his

RumbleFlameThrower

is on cooldown. Look to fight him if his

RumbleFlameThrower

is down as he will lack damage and should be easy to kill.

Rumble will try to farm as much as he can and not necessarily look to fight consistently. Look to play aggressive and try to shut him down.

Rumble is very immobile and prone to all ins. Try to freeze the wave closer to your side of the map. This will force him to over extend for farm, which can allow you to all in him, deny him from farm or even set up your Jungler for an easy take down.

Strategy VS

In team fights, do not group to closely together and do not go through the same chokepoints collectively. Rumble’s

RumbleCarpetBomb

can deal a lot of damage if you are in a tight area, so do not stand close to each other.

Never try to take an objective like Baron or the Dragon if Rumble is alive and kicking. As you will be quite close together inside the pit, you are allowing him to land a devastating

RumbleCarpetBomb

on your whole team.

Never team fight inside the jungle. Rumbles

RumbleCarpetBomb

is about the same width as the jungle paths, so fighting inside the jungle will allow him to land his

RumbleCarpetBomb

on all your teammates. Never fight in the jungle and instead- fight in the open or when Rumble is not there.

Power Spikes

Rumble deals more damage when his bar is over 50%. Be cautious about taking trades when it is above this amount. Although, if you can bait out his bar and make him overheat- he will lack ability damage.

At level 6, Rumble gets his

RumbleCarpetBomb

which is incredibly strong in itself. If his

RumbleCarpetBomb

is up, do not greed or over extend without vision as it is very versatile and can be used to set up the Jungler.

Team fights are where Rumble truly shines so play cautiously. Do not under any circumstances fight Rumble or his team inside the jungle as you’re giving him the best opportunity to hit as many champions as possible with his

RumbleCarpetBomb

. Do not clump together and do not fight inside the jungle vs Rumble.
