If Jayce gets a Serrated Dirk on his first back, it is his most powerful point in the laning phase. Do not allow him to all-in you as soon as he gets back to lane as he usually wins when he has full mana.
Jayce’s first item is Ghostblade which allows him to close the gap very easily on squishy champions and burst them quickly. Avoid fighting him when he uses his Ghostblade active and back away immediately.
