Cassiopeia has a powerful level 2 with her

Q and

E spam. Make sure to dodge her

Q early and don’t let her hit level 2 first, especially when she has Ignite and Scorch.

Cassiopeia has problems with her mana early game, so make sure to go in for quick trades when she is low as she will not be able to retaliate.

One of Cassiopeia’s main weaknesses is her short range. If you out range her make sure keep a distance and keep poking her as she has no way of trading back. Play carefully when the lane is pushed in as she can easily run you down and kill you with her bonus movement speed.

R is a game-changing Ultimate that can be deadly if it hits multiple champions. To reduce her chances of hitting a 5 man

R, do not group to close together.

Never fight the enemy when the terrain favours them. In Cassiopeia’s case, do not fight inside the jungle or in tight areas as it increases her chances of hitting a 5 person

R and winning their team the fight.

Cassiopeia will look to ambush or assassinate targets that are roaming through the river alone. Unless you know where Cass is, do not walk through the darkness as she can easily kill you which may cost your team the next objective.

Power Spikes

Cassiopeia has a lot of mana problems in the early game, but once she gets Tear of the Goddess she will play a lot more aggressive. Watch out for that and dodge her

Q to reduce her trading potential.

Before fighting, try to bait out Cassiopeia’s

R. Her

R is super important and can win them the game. If she does have

R, keep it in mind and be ready to look away at any second.

Cassiopeia really shines in the late game. She scales better than most champs and she can build 6 items. If you get ahead early- try closing out the game as soon as possible.
