Kled counter tips

Laning Against

Skaarl is one of the biggest contributors of what makes Kled unique, and also what makes him strong. Without Skaarl, Kled loses a significant amount of damage.
If your champion has CC or burst, save them until Kled uses his W and dismounts. Kled will ignore any damage or crowd control that dismounts him- rendering them useless.
Key things to look out for when laning into Kled is to dodge his Q and wait for him to use W, as without them, Kled will not be able to trade against you.

Strategy VS

Kled will often pressure sidelanes with his KledR or Teleport up, and either continue the pressure or flank with his TP or KledR. When this happens, try to catch him alone mid-rotation, or force a fight when he has just starting to clear the wave.
In team fights, Kled can use his KledR from far away. Whenever possible, place deep vision inside enemy territory to see him charging in with his KledR. Additionally, ward your flanks so you can see him coming and back away.
When Kled engages, try to burst him down immediately. Once he is in his other form, he will deal less damage and be immobile. Use this time to kill him before switching targets.

Power Spikes

Kleds power spikes early depend on matchup but he is usually really strong at levels 2-4 if he can get a health advantage. Try not to over extend or get hit by his KledQ as he will look for an all in.
Be careful when you are dismounting Kled. From level 1-3, Kled can remount back easily with his abilities and turn the fight around. Keep him low, but not off Skaarl to reduce his chances of all ins.
At level 6, Kled can engage from afar with his KledR. Expect the engage and only push up if you know where he is. If he leaves lane, ping your team as he may look to roam mid with his KledR.
