Gnar uses a rage system that grants him two forms: Mini Gnar and Mega Gnar. Mini Gnar is ranged while Mega Gnar activates at max rage and is tankier with different abilities.
Mini Gnar throws a boomerang that deals physical damage and slows. Mega Gnar throws a boulder that slows nearby enemies and deals physical damage.
Mini Gnar deals bonus damage on every third attack to the same target and gains movement speed. Mega Gnar swings in a direction to deal physical damage and stun enemies.
Mini Gnar hops and gains bonus attack speed. If he hops on unit he will bounce going that direction. Mega Gnar leaps to a target location and deals damage to nearby enemies.
Mini Gnar passively gains movement speed for Hyper. Mega Gnar knocks enemies toward a target direction, stunning them if they hit a wall or slowing them if they don't.
Make sure you get 3 procs' on your W to deal extra damage!
While you are transforming you can use double jump from Mini form to engage as Mega form and burst enemies with all abilities.
Keep harassing the enemy with your
Delay a team fight until you have your rage bar stacked and are about to change into Mega Gnar.
Split up and siege a separate objective if your team is sieging in the mid lane.
