Elise relies heavily on landing her Cocoon
to initiate fights or ganks. It has a long cooldown so look to engage if she misses it.
Elise has a lot of burst damage and can solo kill most champions in the early game. If you’re not playing a tanky champion or one with heavy CC, try not to fight her one on one.
Elise’s Rappel ability (spider form) allows her to drop back down on any enemy target including minions and wards. It also allows her to drop tower aggro, play it safe and back when low on health.
Elise’s damage is highly dependent on her abilities. Once she uses them- she doesn’t have much to offer. Look to engage or extend skirmishes while they’re on cooldown.
Elise plays almost like an Assassin, she wants to pick off the carries with heavy burst damage. She doesn’t do well in extended team fights, so group early and prevent her from catching you or your teammates alone.
Elise will look to get a pick by landing an E from out of sight, followed by her full combo. Make sure to place plenty of wards in the river and the jungle to prevent being taken unaware.
Once Elise gets two items she can put out some serious damage one on one. The best way to deal with her is in groups and with hard crowd control.
If Elise gets ahead early she can be incredibly hard to deal with, counter jungle while she’s weak and doesn’t have burst.
