Every third hit deals bonus damage, and if a champ is struck, grants Ekko movement speed.
Temporal gernade that creates an AOE on detonation slowing and damaging anyone caught inside. After a delay the gernade rewinds and deals damage on its return.
Slows enemies caught inside a dome Ekko creates. If Ekko enters the dome, he gains a shield and stuns the enemies inside.
Evasive roll that activates his passive. His next attack deals bonus damage and telports him to his target.
Ekko rewinds time to return to a point a few seconds ago, healing for a percent of the damage he took in that time. Enemies in the arrival area take a ton of damage.

Ekko might find it difficult to be able to get into the backline before getting locked down and having to blow his Ultimate to escape. Try to flank the enemy to increase your chances of killing the enemy.
Once you get your first item, you should look to roam and help other lanes. Focus heavily on roaming if you cannot kill the enemy Mid laner.
