The biggest weakness for Draven is crowd control (especially stuns, snares, knockups). If you are playing a champion with crowd control, try to trade when he is locked down without his Axes .
Use your range advantage to constantly poke Draven down whenever he tries to stand on his . Use your skill shot when his Axe has dropped outside of the minion wave.
If you can’t win 2v2, ask the Jungler to come and reset his Adoration (Passive) by killing him. Draven is one of the best snowballing champion thanks to his Passive and scaling damage.
Draven has almost no outplaying mechanics but he is extremely strong when he gets a few kills in laning phase thanks to gold from Passive. You have to watch how many items he has purchased and respect his damage potential.
Draven is hard to play in teamfights because he has to control his Axes. In teamfights try to lock him down with CC So he can’t catch his Axes (which is his main source of dmg).
Try to kill Draven whenever his stacks of Adoration is high. It will deny him from getting a huge influx of gold after gaining a kill. It is very hard to play Draven when he is behind.
Draven is an early game monster. Don’t get killed by him in the early game because he will gain extra gold for the kill thanks to his Passive which he can snowball with.
On Draven’s first back, he will usually get an expensive AD item. If you do not buy the exact same item (or better), he will always come out ahead of trades. Take note of his first item and be prepared to play safer.
Draven falls off in the late game because he doesn’t scale as well as other champions. It is also very hard to play Draven in late game team fights because he has to catch his Axes which can lead to making mistakes. Abuse this and take him down first.
