During the laning phase, Braum will look to be a meat shield for his ally by using Stand Behind Me and Unbreakable to nullify most of your damage. Look to trade when it’s down.
Braum has a lot of ways to peeling or locking down his enemies. If he lands a close range that could mean death for whoever it hit. Stand behind the minion wave to reduce his chances of landing a .
If Braum is playing passive in lane you might think you’re doing well right? Keep in mind that if you get ganked Braum can easily Stand Behind Me to his Jungler and lock you down with his slow, stun, or knock-up.
Braum doesn’t have the best sustain. Poking him down when he tries to use his Relic Shield could deny him from getting gold and make it rather risky for him to get the minions he desires.
Braum’s only way to land his Passive safely is his Winter’s Bite . Avoid it by standing behind minions as he will have to put himself in danger to land it.
Play around Braum’s Unbreakable , if it’s up either stop trading or move around the shield to damage him.
Braum can set up his Jungler pretty easily at level 2 or 3 if he has been able to poke you down beforehand. Play safer if the Jungler started top side as they may gank bottom lane at level 3.
Once Braum hits level 6 his Glacial Fissure (R) will give him a lot of engage/peel potential along with his Passive and Winter’s Bite
One power spike that Braum likes to go for is having active items like Randuin’s Omen, Locket of the Iron Solari and Righteous Glory. These items will make Braum a beefy tank for his team and overall boost his teams performance.
